The mages in Elaris are an arrogant lot, and always ends up screwing them over. Osriel is a power-hungry madman. Cyrianus is possessed by an entity he attempted to summon and control. And now there's Tirian.

He is a complicated young man, who has given himself over wholly and (a little too) completely to the study and manipulation of time. His obsession is slowly robbing him of his sanity and his life. He is in miserable health, which is becoming increasingly worse as his studies continue.

I love his wig. One of the best secondhand purchases ever. It changes color according to the light and can be anything from bone grey to blonde to vibrant mauve.
